Hi, those of you who follow Al on YouTube will know us, for those who don’t our names are Al and Jan and we’re married and have just celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary!!! Some going eh?
Al is very easy going and a dab hand at any manner of household jobs. He is also a plumber and that has lots of advantages because I get lots of jobs done for free!! Other than organising my lovely husband into what DIY I would like done I enjoy creating. This ‘creating’ that I do involves making fashion clothes, things for the home, cooking and now the new website for our business. We are so lucky, not only do we have two fabulous daughters and have recently been made grandparents but we live in a beautiful part of the world and have been able to retire early, (please note the early, I’m not that old!!) and dedicate our time to creating tutorials for our site.
An introduction to our new site
Those of you who follow Al will know that
he has been making plumbing, central heating
and DIY tutorials for some time.
Recently I’ve joined him and have added cooking, sewing and my own DIY alongside Al’s tutorials.
Al already had a website under the banner Dereton33, which I am sure many of you are familiar with, and I originally made my own site to stand alongside his. Al’s followers and new folk have been so complimentary of our joint tutorials that we have now decided to combine the two sites. This is what stage we are at now and it is very exciting!!
This is the amazing view from our workstations, sometimes the work takes us longer than we think because we keep looking out of the window!!
We have combined the tutorials from each site so that you can find anything you are looking for on the one site just by clicking on the tutorial tab at the head of the page, the drop down menu leads you to where you want to go. Hopefully the way we have made the site is easier to navigate and you can find what you are looking for.
As this is in the early stages and we have around 400 videos to add to the site we haven’t got them all up just yet! Please bear with us we are working around the clock to get them all up! Meanwhile you can go to Dereton33 on YouTube and hopefully you will find what you are looking for, if what you are looking for is not there then get in touch by email or Google+ and we will look into making a tutorial.
We will also continue to upload new tutorials as we create them and will have Face Book, Twitter and Pinterest links. I plan to have a blog, fingers crossed!!!
